Menzerna Power Finish -- PO203 |
Designed for European, OEM automakers using scratch-resistant clear coats, Menzerna Power Finish PO203 is enjoying success with US detailers as domestic automakers begin their switch to high-solid-content (harder) clear coats. While technically a final or finishing polish in the same category as Menzerna PO106FF and Menzerna PO106FA, Menzerna Power Finish offers substantially more cutting power. In fact, it is just below Menzerna PO83 Super Intensive Polish in it's ability to remove slight to moderate swirls, sanding scratches, water spots and paint defects yet it finishes with a high gloss. Most paints, including dark colors, do not require any follow-up polishing. In most cases, you can go directly from Menzerna Power Finish PO203 to your favorite wax or sealant.
Menzerna Power Finish PO203 is a water-based, silicone-free, body shop safe formula, VOC compliant in all 50 states. It is classified as a low-dusting polish which makes clean-up easier. Power Finish PO203 can be applied using a D-A or circular polisher and is safe for older, conventional clear coats as well as newer high-solid-content and scratch-resistant clear coats.
Application by Machine:
Menzerna Power Finish PO203 works great with Lake Country White or Green, CCS, Foam Pads using either a circular, D-A or orbital polisher. Menzerna gives an rpm range of 1500 to 2000 rpm. We prefer to stick with a lower range (1200-1500 rpm) if using a circular machine. With the Porter Cable 7424, I set the speed dial between 4-1/2 and 5. Mist the pad first with a pad lubricant and work in an up-and-down and back-and-forth motion until the polish starts to dry. Wipe off residues with a damp Microfiber cloth.
Menzerna Power Finish, PO203, is available in a 32 oz. bottle. |
